.....and we thought Carrie was being a rebel by breaking the maximum 3 passenger "rule" in the above pic.....

.....a few weeks later Carrie, Joanna (centre) & I cleverly bargained another driver down a whopping 200 hundred rupees for a ride from Trimbak to Nasik.  Quite a deal!  And we were model passengers  (Note:  only THREE of us is the back seat).  But shortly after this pic was snapped, the driver proceeded to pick up more random passengers along the way.  I think in total there were 4 men sitting in the front seat.  At one point, a man hopped on with a rather large gas cylinder.....& the next moment, the DRIVER was sitting on HIS lap!
