Went for a nice walk the other day. The fields surrounding the ashram are just stunning & very green this time of year. The monsoon rains have blessed this region.
The local villagers are are beautiful...........and for the most part they are very friendly & curious about our goings-on at the ashram.
Just prior to taking this shot, I had passed by a farmer's field that had many saris & assorted laundry hung out to dry. Blowing in the breeze.
It is quite warm here this time of year; however, I think my years in HK have prepared me well. I'm quite comfortable........and I would be out here walking every morning & evening if it wasn't for the snakes (it's cobra season here!) We've already encountered several within the ashram.
